Real life: Japan in danger of radiation leakage

Damn, the catastrophe in Japan just kept on going, as if the earthquake and tsunami weren't dangerous enough.

Two nuclear power plants were currently in haywire not long after the tsunami that submerged most of the country. The cooling system was badly damaged due to the earthquake that rumbled two days ago, leaving the core in danger of overheating and on a verge of meltdown. The US sent a coolant in order to alleviate the threat.

But unfortunately, the worst had already occurred.

The Fukushima no. 1 power plant had already exploded.

By now, radiation would slowly contaminate the country and people would suffer greatly from its effects.

The recent explosion and the radiation aftermath was one of the worst to ever happen in history ever since the Chernobyll explosion in Russia and the Hiroshima / Nagasaki bomb threat in Japan during WWII. Countless lives were claimed and many people got contaminated by radiation. You wouldn't want to picture yourself in those situations, would you?

I know help is still greatly needed for victims to recover from the catastrophe. As for me, all I can do is pray for them.

And so I close the talk. I hope this will serve as a change to make a change for the better.
